Fire crews remain at the scene after a fierce blaze ripped through a home in Hamilton leaving the roof completely destroyed.
Emergency services were called to the semi-detached property on Livingstone Street at around 5.22am on Sunday, August 28.
Shocking images from the scene show the roof of the property has been badly damaged by the flames with the guttering having melted down the side of the house.
Several fire engines and an ambulance were pictured blocking the quiet street as crews continued to make the area safe.
A cordon has also been put in place. The cause of the fire is not currently known. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service thankfully confirmed that no casualties had been reported.
A spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 5.22am on Sunday, 28 August to reports of a fire affecting a semi-detached house at Livingstone Street, Hamilton.
"Operations Control mobilised six appliances to extinguish the fire and crews remain at the scene as they work to make the area safe.
"There are no reported casualties."
It is understood that fire crews left the area shortly before 10am having contained the blaze.
