Seven-time defending World Champion Ronnie O’Sullivan has suffered an injury scare just two weeks ahead of the tournament.

O’Sullivan was due to face David Grace in the second round of the World Snooker Tour Classic in Leicester on Sunday evening, but had to withdraw after suffering an elbow injury.

Taking to Twitter, O'Sullivan elaborated on the reasons for his withdrawal:
