ew musicians ever get the chance to be part of a genuinely classic album. But in the case of the late Ronnie James Dio, history was made – he was involved with three: each incredible and truly influential, and perhaps most amazingly, each with a different band.
Firstly, there was Rainbow’s seminal 1976 album, Rising. Then came Heaven And Hell in 1980 with Black Sabbath. And finally, Dio’s immense 1983 debut, Holy Diver.
