Storm Keating has issued a scathing response to a cleaner who claimed that she and her husband Ronan Keating refused to pay her £500 after cleaning their property.
The Aussie fashion designer and her Boyzone husband hired Jasmina Dimitrieva to give the £5million luxury Hertfordshire pad a full clean before they moved out.
But Storm was said to have been unhappy with the job and claimed that Jasmina had left ‘dead flowers’ and ‘ old food ’ left on the shelves.
Jasmina told The Sun that she was never told that the property was a mansion, and that the fee should have been £1,100.
The cleaner said that some of the mess may have been caused by the people responsible for the removal work.
Storm has now broken her silence on the affair, and has dismissed Jasmina’s claims as “bogus”.
Writing on Instagram, she told followers that the couple did not previously go public on their criticism of the clean up job in hope that the situation would be ‘remedied’ in future.
She also shared a string of snaps which discarded tissues in the toilet, grease in the oven and food left in cupboards.
Storm said: “We feel compelled to share a message we sent to someone who chose to sell a story to the press rather than do the job she was actually employed to do.”
She continued: “You promised us a service you didn’t perform and then unilaterally increased the agreed contract price by 120 per cent after you supposedly did the clean without any consultation, pre notice or agreement.
“You then broke our trust by demanding payment saying the job was complete when in actuality the house was left in no acceptable state for handover.
“We however we restrained ourselves from going public because we were hoping this level of service was not acceptable by your own standards and that you would want to remedy the situation professionally and amicably.
“But today you have left us no choice but to share the truth on this matter.”
Storm then went on to list a number of ‘facts’ in response to the report that emerged yesterday.
She claimed that removal company denied allegations that they prevented the cleaner from doing their job. Storm also denied the description of the multi-million pound home being a ‘mansion’.
In a separate post, Storm said that she had to spend five hours cleaning the property herself after the cleaners had left.
Storm ended the post by saying: “We acted fairly and gave you every opportunity to do the right thing.
“Anyone else in our position would have done the same.”
