Ronan Keating revealed on the One Show he gave his son Jack Keating two words of advice before he joined Love Island.
The former Boyzone singer's son Jack was introduced as one of six Casa Amor boys on the reality show. On his first night, Jack was seen getting close with Gemma Owen, whose father is football legend Michael Owen.
The advice the 45-year-old gave his son was to "be yourself". Later in the interview, Ronan confessed he tried to talk Jack out of the show initially but said "kids don't listen even if you try to talk them out".

"I won't lie I've been nervous as hell but Love Island was something he wanted to do," Ronan, who's also a dad to Missy, Ali, Cooper and Coco added. "The house is not the same without him and his little brothers and sisters are missing playing with him every day but we're tuning in every night."
The father and son have a close relationship and before Jack stepped on the Island, he acknowledged his father to the cameras. "Yeah my dad is a singer," he said.
"He will be watching when I’m on it for sure, he’s buzzing for me. Me and my dad are very close, we’re best mates.”
During a chat with Love Islander Gemma on Sunday's episode, Jack revealed he wouldn't be attracted to a woman that isn't family oriented. The influencer also confessed that he's been unlucky finding love and hopes Love Island will end his search for love.
