Lightning has struck Rome's Constantine Arch near the Colosseum during a violent thunderstorm, loosening fragments from the ancient structure.
The fragments from Tuesday's lightning strike were immediately gathered and secured by workers at the Colosseum Archaeological Park, officials said.
