In her Jubilee message, the Queen spoke of how "steadfast and loving support" from her family has helped her throughout her reign.
She mentioned her father King George VI, late-husband Prince Philip and eldest son Prince Charles, as well as referencing the extended family.
So it was fitting that she sat in front of a collection of family photos for some of the official pictures released to mark the landmark day.
