Roman Kemp describes 'really scary' moment he was tear-gassed at Champions League final

Roman Kemp said he was he was 'really, really scared' after being been tear-gassed by police at the Champions League final.

The 29-year-old was in Paris to watch the match with Liverpool and Real Madrid.

The game was delayed due to chaotic scenes outside the grounds in which Roman was unfortunately caught up in.

Speaking on Capital Breakfast this morning, the star spoke of the "horrific" conditions in which 20,000 Liverpool fans were being 'funnelled through' into the stadium.

"The second we got there, it was hostility straightaway," he stated.

"One of my mates is having a panic attack at the time and saying “I just need to get out”.

The star then revealed how he was tear-gassed.

"The police... they're just laughing at the fans and then all of a sudden tear gas starts getting thrown at us, pepper spray starts coming out from the top," he said.

"People were trying to hold up their kids.

"It was the worst experience I've ever had in a football ground.

"It was really, really scary."

Roman was actually wearing a Real Madrid shirt and insisted the Liverpool fans weren't at fault.

He said: " It was discriminatory against Liverpool fans. And the reason I say they should investigate it, because when we got in there, all the Real Madrid fans were in there."

However Capital fans needn't worry about the star coming off air just yet.

He plans to stay with the show to mark a milestone, revealing: "I want a decade on air at least.

"I would love to be able to say I did a decade on that show – whether my bosses will allow that I don't know."
