Roman Abramovich's love life as he ‘dates a 25-year-old TV presenter’

Businessman Roman Abramovich, 55, is said to be romantically involved with a 25-year-old TV presenter whose family has Ukrainian heritage.

The Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned last week for his links to the Kremlin after Russian President Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine.

Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said in a statement released on the government website that they had targeted the oligarchs to "ramp up the pressure on the Putin regime and choke off funds to his brutal war machine".

She said: "With their close links to Putin they are complicit in his aggression.

"The blood of the Ukrainian people is on their hands. They should hang their heads in shame."

Claims that Abramovich, who has been married three times, has fallen in love with the actress and musician Alexandra Korendyuk were first published by a Russian gossip columnist.

Alexandra previously appeared in the Russian show You're All P***ing Me Off and is thought to have founded the Institute of Music Initiatives, which helps up-and-coming musicians.

The same journalist first revealed that dad-of-seven Abramovich was due to wed his third wife, Dasha Zhukova who he was married to from 2008 to 2018.

Bozhena Rynska said: "Roman Abramovich's new girlfriend is very interesting. At the beginning of the year, rumours started that the oligarch's heart had been won over by Alexandra Korendyuk.

"There is very little information about the girl, but it is said that she is the founder of a company in the music industry. Abramovich's date has also tried her hand as an actress."

Regional experts told the Sun that her surname links to her having Ukrainian family roots.

A source added: "It is ironic Abramovich has been linked with a lady with a Ukrainian background just as he's been sanctioned because of the war and his links to Putin.

"It is easy to see what he would see in her and this is apparently a relationship that has been going on for up to a year."

In December 2020, Trinixy social website reported: "It is noteworthy that Alexandra leads a closed lifestyle, does not particularly talk about herself on social networks, while she has previously been seen in several film projects."

Abramovich married his first wife Olga Yurevna Lysova, 56, in 1987, before he made his fortune, but the pair split after three years.

He then married air stewardess Irina Vyacheslavovna Malandina, 54 in 1991, and the pair share five children. They divorced in Moscow before Irina settled in London.

Their daughter Sofia, 27, drew attention recently after criticising the invasion of Ukraine on Instagram, where she shared an anti-war message: "The biggest and most successful lie of Kremlin's propaganda is that most Russians stand with Putin."

Abramovich and Daha Zhukova divorced in 2017 after a decade together. The couple has two children, both born in the US: Aaron Alexander aged 12, and Leah Lou, eight.

The couple founded the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow. The museum has announced its closure "until the human and political tragedy that is unfolding in Ukraine has ceased".

Its website said: "We are categorically opposed to any and all actions that sow division and create isolation."
