NEW DELHI: India's Rohan Bopanna and his Australian partner Matthew Ebden faced defeat in their round of 16 men's doubles match at the Monte Carlo Masters on Wednesday. They were defeated by Mate Pavic of Croatia and Marcelo Arévalo of El Salvador with a score of 3-6, 6-7 (6-8).
Bopanna and Ebden struggled to find their rhythm early in the match, falling behind quickly in the first set and failing to mount a successful comeback. Although they showed signs of improvement in the second set, their opponents proved to be formidable, ultimately sealing the victory in the tie-breaker.
