Rodrigo has vowed that Leeds United are "focused on fighting" in their battle against the drop from the Premier League after he made his return from injury during the 2-2 draw with Brighton at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
Leeds twice battled from behind to draw with the Seagulls during a thrilling game in West Yorkshire. Javi Gracia's side showed their resilience as they pegged back high-flying Brighton through goals from Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison either side of half-time to share the points.
There was no doubting the quality of goals on display, with both Bamford and Harrison scoring superb efforts to give the home crowd something to cheer about. Although he failed to make an impact during the game, Rodrigo's return to action certainly gave Leeds supporters cause for cautious optimism in their battle against relegation.

Replacing Bamford in the 66th minute, the forward looked to get some valuable minutes under his belt following his ankle injury against Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup back in January. Rodrigo may have not been able to directly change the game in his brief cameo but there is no doubting how pivotal a role Leeds' top scorer can have during their final 12 matches of the season.
And Rodrigo has now issued a rallying cry in their bid to avoid the drop as he promised fans that the team are fully committed to remaining in the Premier League for the 2023/24 campaign.
"Satisfied to be back," Rodrigo wrote on social media. "It was not possible to win but it's very important to get every single point.
"We are totally focused on fighting to the maximum all games until the end of the season, to achieve our goal, all united. MOT."
