It was not a bad week at all for a number of Tottenham's loan players. Enduring mixed fortunes so far since departing Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the summer, plenty of positives could be taken from the last round of fixtures.
Not only did we see the return of Harry Winks and Troy Parrott after their respective injuries, Joe Rodon also played his part in Rennes claiming a famous win in Ligue 1. So how did all eight of Tottenham's loanees get on across the globe? football.london takes a look below.
Destiny Udogie (Udinese)
Udinese's poor run of form continued last weekend following a late 2-1 defeat at home to Bologna. Udogie, who played the full 90 minutes, was one of the team's better plays on the day and tried to make things happen in the final third.
Having four attempts on goal, he also created three chances, attempted nine dribbles and had a pass success rate of 82 per cent. An off day for Udinese, their next game sees them travel to Serie A strugglers Sampdoria, who could potentially have Tottenham man Winks in the starting XI.

Joe Rodon (Rennes)
Rodon has had a tough time of it of late with limited football coming his way for Rennes. Having to make do with a place on the substitutes' bench in recent weeks, he was called into the team to take on Paris Saint-Germain as they opted for a three-man backline.
Coming up against Lionel Messi and Neymar, with Kylian Mbappe introduced from the bench in the second half, Rodon excelled and helped his loan club to a memorable victory against the Ligue 1 leaders. As per Fotmob, the Welshman made five clearances, two blocks, two recoveries and one interception, while he also won his two ground duels and one aerial duel.
Rodon was also successful with 25 of his 28 passes, thus giving him an 89 per cent passing success rate. The player also featured on the front page of Monday's L'Equipe, which featured a rather downbeat Messi and Neymar as they were nullified by the Rennes backline.
Rodon and Rennes are in French Cup action on Friday when they travel to Marseille in a Round of 32 clash.
Troy Parrott (Preston North End)
Out of action since the beginning of October due to a freak hamstring injury he sustained when scoring the winner away at Norwich, Parrott made his return to the pitch against the same opponents on Saturday afternoon. Named on the bench by boss Ryan Lowe, the Republic of Ireland international got 18 minutes under his belt as he came on in the closing stages of their 4-0 home defeat.
A big moment for the player as he was "champing at the bit" and "raring to go" ahead of the Norwich encounter after his injury layoff, Preston could really do with their player hitting the goal trail over the coming weeks with main man Emil Riis out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury.
Parrott's minutes will hopefully increase at the weekend when the Lancashire club travel to Birmingham City. It will be the last game he plays in January, however, as he cannot feature against his parent club in the FA Cup after Preston were paired against Tottenham in the fourth round draw.
Dane Scarlett (Portsmouth)
Having missed out the previous weekend against parent club Tottenham in the FA Cup as he was ineligible to feature, Scarlett got game time under his belt with two appearances against Bolton Wanderers. Firstly playing 72 minutes of their 1-0 defeat in the Papa Johns Trophy last Tuesday, Pompey were back at the University of Bolton Stadium four days later in the league.
The 18-year-old did take to the pitch again but this time it was only for seven minutes as the visitors searched in vain for a way back into the contest as they trailed 3-0. Portsmouth, who have yet to confirm a successor to Danny Cowley, host Exeter City on Saturday afternoon before heading to Fleetwood Town next Tuesday.
Harry Winks (Sampdoria)
Having a watching brief since making his loan switch to Sampdoria after requiring ankle surgery, things are now starting to look up for the midfielder. Making the squad for the first time at the start of January after his return to fitness, Winks finally made his Sampdoria bow on Monday evening in their 1-0 defeat against Empoli.
Named on the bench for the third game in a row, the 26-year-old was introduced for the final 28 minutes of the contest and made an impression. Completing 16 of his 19 passes and putting in three crosses, he also won five of his six ground duels in his limited time on the field.
Earning a score of 6/10 for his performance from Genova Today, the Italian outlet clearly know they have a good player on their hands and are expecting more from him in the future. They wrote: "It is clear that he is a high-level player, even if he has always been injured so far. Good starting point to put order and some quality in midfield."
Taking to Instagram after his Sampdoria debut, Winks penned: "After a very tough six months injured, finally making my debut for this club was amazing. Still shocked at the referee's decision but as always the fans were unbelievable and will continue to fight for the rest of the season."
Seven points adrift of safety with 20 games of the Serie A campaign remaining, Winks injecting some quality into Sampdoria's midfield could be the lift they need to help get out of danger. The Tottenham academy graduate will now be hoping more minutes come his way on Sunday when they host Udinese at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
Sergio Reguilon (Atletico Madrid)
Following such a positive start to 2023 with game time coming his way after a nightmare 2022 through injury, Reguilon saw red in Atletico Madrid's 1-1 draw away at Almeria on Sunday. Entering the fray midway through the second half, the left-back was given a yellow card in the 85th minute for dissent before receiving another yellow four minutes later after appearing to catch his opponent with his arm when contesting for a header.
Now set to miss out through suspension, his quick dismissal will not have gone down well with boss Diego Simeone as he looks to try and force his way into his starting XI after an injury-hit start to his time with Atleti.
Tanguy Ndombele (Napoli)
Napoli made people stand up and take notice last Friday with a stunning 5-1 win over Juventus at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. Ndombele watched on for the vast majority of the contest and it wasn't until the 78th minute when he replaced Piotr Zielinski in midfield.
The Frenchman was back in the team on Tuesday evening and played 102 minutes as they were knocked out of the Coppa Italia on penalties by Serie A basement boys Cremonese. With the Scudetto very much their main priority as they try to lift the league title for the first time since 1990, they return to league action on Saturday evening with a trip to Salernitana on the agenda.
Giovani Lo Celso (Villarreal)
Lo Celso continues to remain on the sidelines as he works his way back to fitness from the hamstring injury that cruelly saw him miss out on Argentina's successful World Cup campaign. In his absence, Villarreal recorded a point on Friday following a 1-1 draw at Celta Vigo.
