Rod Stewart's son was rushed to hospital after collapsing and 'turning blue' while playing football.
The Scottish singer was left in shock and terrified after his 11-year-old son Aiden went 'blue and unconscious' while representing the Young Hoops Under-12s team, reports the Daily Record. The Celtic-daft dad-of-eight initially feared that his son had suffered a heart attack as he was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.
Speaking to FourFourTwo magazine, Rod said: "We thought my boy had a heart attack.

"He was going blue and was unconscious until he calmed down. It was scary, but it turned out to be a panic attack. The lad wanted to do well, pulled on the Hoops in Scotland for his dad.
"Another boy fell backwards and banged his head - he's still not back. In all of my days watching football, that's the only time two ambulances had been called."
It was later confirmed that Aiden had suffered a severe panic attack on the pitch. Rod shares his two youngest boys - Aiden, 11, and Alasdair, 16 - with Loose Women star Penny Lancaster. It has been a tough time for the Stewart family, as Rod lost his two big brothers, Don and Bob, within months of each other.
He told his followers: "It’s with great sadness that I announce the loss of my brother Bob last night, who joins my brother Don on the great football pitch in the sky.
"I’ve lost two of my best mates in the space of two months. RIP Don and Bob ‘irreplaceable buddies’."
This news came after Rod's son Sean, 42, was rushed to hospital in October after being hit by a truck. Sean, who is the son of Rod and his first wife Alana Collins, shared a photo from hospital in a gown and face mask as he wrote: "I got hit by a truck at a red light. Hard out here on these streets."
The entrepreneur was left with a neck brace following the scary collision.
