Legendary rocker Rod Stewart is planning a boozy Celtic party for the ages to toast all–conquering boss Ange Postecoglou.
The Hoops fanatic is smitten with the Australian boss who is on course for a Treble in his second season in charge after delivering the Double 12 months ago. And Stewart admits Ange is already on his gift list after every major win with more rewards to follow if he sees off Michael Beale's side in their mammoth Scottish Cup semi final and in the last Premiership encounter between the pair.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Record, Sir Rod said: "Every time they beat the Rangers, I send him a crate. This month I was so happy with the result, I sent him two crates. If Celtic beat them in the Scottish Cup semi-final and the last league game, I will flood his house with red wine. He's just perfect and I hope he stays for a few more years."
Postecoglou has earned adulation among supporters and former players who believe his mix of thrilling football and consistent success is among the finest in the club's modern history. And now he's set for a special deliver if his charges can finish the season with a bang and see of their biggest rivals once again.
