Rod Stewart made his love for Celtic very clear this weekend as he marked the end of his tour by getting a Hoops tattoo.
The Hoops daft star showed off his new ink on social media after permanently branding his arm in a bid to show his appreciation for the Parkhead side.
The rocker, who finished his tour Down Under this weekend, posted a snap of his new tattoo on Instagram, writing: "Getting a ‘Glasgow Celtic’ tattoo in Auckland to celebrate my beloved team ‘You’re in My Heart", with wife Penny Lancaster commenting: "Amazing celebration to end a great Australian/New Zealand tour" alongside a shamrock emoji.
The tattoo picture shows the words 'Glasgow Celtic' on Rod's arm surrounded by another ink as the Maggie May singer posed in a white vest and Celtic accessories including a gold chain and a shamrock. Star man Kyogo even gave the post a like.
And before sitting down to be inked, the 78-year-old celebrated his beloved side's Old Firm triumph on stage during his show in Auckland.
The star was accompanied by his backing singers and band in Celtic strips while dressed from head to toe in green as he played to a 12,000 strong crowd.
The new ink addition follows a derby day win for the Hoops, with a Kyogo double and Jota strike securing all three points in front of a noisy Celtic Park crowd on Saturday.
The victory leaves Ange Postecoglou's side 12 points clear of city rivals Rangers with just seven games to go as they look to secure a second successive Premiership title.
Sharing the snap to his Instagram story, Rod said: "Celebrating Celtic's 3-2 win. C'mon you girls in green."
