Rochelle Humes says 'it's a wrap' and issues career announcement after Holly Willoughby snub

Rochelle Humes has shared a career announcement and told fans "it's a wrap". The This Morning regular - who was not mentioned by Holly Willoughby in her speech when she returned in the wake of the Phillip Schofield scandal - wrote: "It's a wrap.

"Two days shooting winter in the blazing sunshine. Completed it mate.” The Saturdays singer Rochelle offered scant other details about the career move and update, Birmingham Live reports.

It comeas as Rochelle's absence from This Morning continues. Rochelle, who often presented alongside Phil, has shared an emotional tribute on her Instagram account in the wake of Schofield's exit.

Sharing three pictures of the pair laughing while live on air, Rochelle said: "I've proudly been a part of the This Morning family for almost 10 years and over the last few, it has been an absolute pleasure learning so much from you.

"Thanks for all the lessons - you're a fountain of knowledge and laughter. Big love @schofe." Rochelle was one of only a few This Morning stars to show support for the 62-year-old when he left the show under a cloud amid his affair with a young male runner.

ITV's chef Clodagh McKenna also share a statement. Posting a picture of the pair in the This Morning kitchen, Clodagh wrote: "21 years of brightening up our mornings…. And I’ve been so lucky to be part of 3 of them. I’ll miss the morning hug, the twinkle in your eye that makes me giggle and your empathy. You will be missed @schofe."

ITV This Morning continues to air each weekday from 10am til midday on ITV1 and ITVX.
