North East star Robson Green made a surprise revelation on The One Show - that he was related to comedian Alan Carr.
The actor appeared on the BBC programme on Friday to talk about his new TV series Robson Green's Weekend Escapes. He appeared alongside Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, who was there to discuss her team-up with Alan Carr on DIY show The Italian Job.
It was then revealed that Northumberland-born Robson was related to Chatty Man host Alan. The One Show presenter Alex Jones said: "You think you're related."

Robson replied: "I recently found out when my mum rang me and said 'you're related to Alan.' When I told her I was coming on the show. I said 'what?'. She said 'yeah, his grandmother, that means he's your cousin. And Paul Gascoigne as well.'"
Both Alex Jones and co-presenter Ronan Keating were visibly stunned, with Keating saying: "Wow." Robson went on: "She (his mum) said 'well you all like a drink.'
"And I thought 'have you been drinking mum.' But I think it's true. My mum lives in Burradon."
Amanda then added: "It is true. And I spoke to Alan just before I came on and said 'you know you're related to Robson Green right?' He was like 'yes I do. We are all from the same village.'"
