Robotics startup Solinas Integrity has raised $5.5 million (around Rs 48 crore) in a round led by Hero Enterprise Partner Ventures and Mela Ventures, with participation from the Luthra Group. Existing investors SBI Ventures (through the SVL-SME Fund), Rainmatter, and 8X Ventures Fund I also participated.
Founded by IIT Madras alumni Divanshu Kumar and Moinak Banerjee, Solinas develops robotics and artificial intelligence systems to inspect, clean, and digitise underground water and wastewater infrastructure. Its technology is currently deployed across more than 35 cities and 15 states in India; the company has also expanded to the Middle East.
