A YouTuber crashed one of Roblox's biggest annual events, and it cost him a tackle from security. On September 11, 2026, CEO David Baszucki was mid-keynote at the Roblox Developers Conference (RDC26) when a young man wearing a black T-shirt reading "Kids deserve better" ran onto the stage in front of the audience.

The interruption matters because it puts a spotlight, once again, on how Roblox — a platform built largely around a young user base — handles child safety concerns, at a moment when the company is trying to project confidence to the developers who build inside its ecosystem.
