Former Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has admitted 'everyone knew' Marcus Rashford would be successful at Old Trafford after he first broke into the Reds squad.
Rashford has been in scintillating form for Erik ten Hag's side so far this season, registering 27 goals and nine assists in all competitions for United. The 25-year-old, who won his third major honour with the Reds after lifting the Carabao Cup trophy last month, was forced to withdraw from the England squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers after picking up a knock on Sunday.
Despite this, he is expected to be fit for United's next competitive game against Newcastle, and the forward will be keen to continue his incredible goalscoring run between now and the end of the season. After a difficult individual campaign last term, Rashford has thrived under the management of Ten Hag this term.
