Philippe Clement is hopeful Robin Propper will not be sidelined for Rangers despite being forced off against St Johnstone.
The centre-back could not continue in the Premier Sports Cup tie after seizing up in his back.
However, Clement is fairly comfortable in the knowledge Propper should not be ruled out.
He said: "I think he will be okay. Robin felt totally blocked in his back with a knock after a duel and it blocked his back.
"Because of that he started to have a problem with his groin sop he could not continue. Of course, if you cannot run, cannot turn, you cannot play.
"But I hope and I think it will not be a bad injury."

Clement was pleased for Danilo to be back on the pitch for Rangers in the first-half before being withdrawn with an update offered on Hamza Igamane's condition.
"You see him growing week by week even from a few days ago when I got questions here because he was limping," said Clement of Danilo. "We had a good laugh about that!
"It's good that everybody sees that he's back. It's about deserving playing minutes by training and then continue growing again.
"There are other players also. Cyriel [Dessers] was again very important today. There is good competition between the two of them. We will need rotation in the squad so we need a lot of players available.
"Hamza Igamane is also making good steps so I hope the next couple of months to also count on him in moments to play that role."
