The battle to sign Leeds United defender Robin Koch appears to be heating up this summer, with reports that five Premier League clubs have contacted the player's representatives about a move.
Koch joined Leeds in the summer of 2020 and looks set to leave this summer following the relegation to the Championship, with his desire to play at the highest possible level for his international chances. The German has just 12 months left of his contract at Elland Road too.
It had previously been reported that Manchester United held interest in the 26-year-old, but now 90min.com have reported that new Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is keen to take him to North London. Both sides are said to have spoken to his agent already this summer.

But as well as Man United and Spurs, the report also names Newcastle United, Brentford and Nottingham Forest as having reached out to Koch's representatives for 'exploratory talks'. Koch is also said to have interest in his services from Germany's Bundesliga but would prefer to stay in England, it is claimed, with Premier League clubs able to offer better financial terms.
Koch joined Leeds from Freiburg in the summer of 2020 and has made 77 appearances for the club over the last three seasons. Injuries and form meant he wasn't a regular under Marcelo Bielsa, though he would step up as a first-choice option under Jesse Marsch, playing 36 of Leeds' 38 games last season.
With just 12 months left on the four-year contract he initially signed when joining the club, it would seem unlikely at this stage that Leeds will be able to convince the defender to stay and help guide the club back to the Premier League. It would appear, with plenty of interest, his future lies elsewhere.
