Robin Koch believes Leeds United's new signings can step up and fill the void left by Raphinha. The Brazilian left Elland Road to join Barcelona this summer for a fee in the region of £55 million.
The 25-year-old scored 17 goals and provided 12 assists in 67 appearances at Leeds.
The Whites have drafted in attacking players who will be hoping to fill the boots of Raphinha. Luis Sinisterra has arrived from Feyenoord on a five-year deal, while Brenden Aaronson put in a promising Whites debut in the opening day victory over Wolves. The Whites could still add another attacking player to their squad before the transfer window shuts.
Despite the loss of Raphinha, Koch feels Leeds still have lots of quality in the squad, and has backed the likes of Aaronson and Sinisterra to step up.
"Rapha is one of the best footballers I've played with," Koch told German publication Bild "He will play an important role at Barcelona. He's a super boy whose dream was to continue the Brazilian era at Barca.
"Of course, that type of player will be a miss, but I am sure that we will compensate for that. We have a lot of quality in the squad and we've got top newcomers."
