Roberto Carlos has named Manchester United's Fred and Casemiro as the Brazilian players he would have liked to play alongside.
Fred and Casemiro were both selected to represent Brazil during the international break. Casemiro started in both of Brazil's matches against Ghana and Tunisia, while Fred was given his only start alongside his club teammate against the latter opponent.
Brazil won both of those matches and they are among the favourites to win the 2022 Qatar World Cup, which is a tournament that Fred and Casemiro are expected to feature in, despite not playing regularly under Erik ten Hag this season.

Casemiro was expected to go straight into the starting line up after signing from Real Madrid this summer, but Ten Hag has discussed a period of adaptation for the midfielder and his arrival seems to have brought out the best in Scott McTominay.
Although Casemiro is yet to start a Premier League match - that is expected to change this month - and Fred has been handed just two league starts, the legendary Carlos has given the United midfielders the ultimate compliment.
When asked which Brazilian players he would have liked to play alongside, Carlos told Football Daily: “Casemiro [and] Fred. They are players that have good [pitch] coverage and because I am very offensive. They are players that would cover well for me.”
Gilberto Silva seemed to agree with Carlos and added: “They could run for me and help me together.”
United play Manchester City at the Etihad on Sunday and Ten Hag is expected to pick the same midfield three that played against FC Sheriff in the Europa League, which included McTominay, Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes in the starting line up.
Ten Hag will be asked for United's team news for that game at his press conference on Friday.
