Robert Shwartzman, 25, just completed his rookie season in IndyCar. Driving for Prema Racing, he just missed out on Rookie of the Year honors to Louis Foster, and ended the year 24th in the championship standings. He only earned two top ten finishes, placing as high as ninth at Iowa Speedway.
The one big highlight came in May, when Shwartzman earned a shock pole in the 109th running of the Indianapolis 500. He was the first rookie to win the pole for IndyCar's crown jewel event in 42 years.
