Arsenal legend Robert Pires believes that Manchester United will be one of five teams who will be competing for the Premier League title next season.
United's first season under Erik ten Hag has been largely successful with the Reds steadying the ship following a disastrous campaign. Ten Hag secured his first silverware back in February as he led the club to the League Cup, their first trophy since the Jose Mourinho era.
The Reds are still competing for both the FA Cup and Europa League but both have become tougher tasks due to recent injuries to key players. However, in an interview with My Betting Sites, Pires was optimistic that United will be in the conversation next season for the title.

He explained: "Of course, in the future, teams like Manchester City, Manchester United, and even Chelsea and Liverpool will have better financial possibilities to remain competitive at the highest level; that is clear. So, next season, it will be much harder for Arsenal, especially with the added burden of the Champions League."
Before looking ahead to next season, United must first focus on the remainder of this campaign and their battle to finish in the top four. The Reds currently sit fourth in the Premier League, three points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur in fifth. Currently, the Reds remain in the driver's seat thanks to having two games in hand over the North London club.
