Way back in 2008, everyone had an answer for whether they were Team Edward or Team Jacob as Twilight became a cultural phenomenon that took over the world.
According to Edward actor Robert Pattinson, though, the battle for who would win Bella Swan's heart was a little one-sided.
"No one's Team Jacob," Pattinson said with a laugh when asked which side he was on by Canal Plus. "That was just a marketing thing."

Obviously, it's unlikely Pattinson would side against his own character, so we're not too surprised at his answer.
Twilight has been undergoing something of a renaissance lately, and there's even an animated adaptation of Stephanie Meyer's Midnight Sun – a retelling of the first Twilight book from Edward's perspective – coming to Netflix.
Pattinson, meanwhile, has a busy year ahead of him. He's starring opposite Zendaya in upcoming A24 movie The Drama, then will appear in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, and he will play Scytale in Dune: Part Three.
The first Dune 3 trailer recently revealed our first look at Scytale, too, and it's quite the dramatic look for Pattinson.
Looking further ahead, Pattinson will also return as Bruce Wayne in next year's The Batman 2. "We worked exceptionally hard to tell a story worthy of the character. Something that feels new and dangerous. The bar couldn't be higher," co-writer Mattson Tomlin recently shared of the sequel.
