Former NFL QB Robert Griffin III was let go from his job at ESPN on Thursday along with Sam Ponder, and after his initial reaction with the perfect meme on X (formerly Twitter), he classily thanked his now-former colleagues.
“Thankful for so many people in my time at ESPN that helped me grow because they are some of the best in the business,” he wrote. “From the broadcast booth to the studio and ESPECIALLY the people many of you never see behind the camera.”
He went on to thank his fans and those who supported him throughout his career.
