According to Kick Kennedy, Kennedy used a chainsaw to remove the head of a whale that had washed up near their family home in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. He then transported the whale's head on the roof of their minivan back to their New York residence. The journey was described as unpleasant, with whale juice seeping into the vehicle and passersby reacting negatively.
