Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. held a meeting with former President Donald Trump in Milwaukee today, as confirmed by Kennedy's campaign spokesperson Stefanie Spear. The meeting was focused on discussions surrounding 'national unity' in the aftermath of the recent assassination attempt on Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

According to Spear, the conversation between Kennedy and Trump also touched upon Trump's upcoming decision regarding his vice presidential nomination. It was revealed that Trump has chosen Ohio Sen. JD Vance to be his running mate for the upcoming presidential election.
