Independent US presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr has withdrawn from the presidential race and endorsed Donald Trump.

The move came as Mr Kennedy - often referred to as RFK Jr, prepared to address the nation from Arizona on Friday afternoon "about the present historical moment and his path forward," according to his campaign.
