Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance recently expressed his belief that Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. may drop out of the race and potentially endorse former president Donald Trump. Vance, speaking on the Clay Travis & Buck Sexton show, stated that he hopes Kennedy Jr. will align with the Republican party due to what he perceives as a lack of space for Kennedy Democrats within the current political landscape.
Vance, who comes from a background of socially conservative Democrats known as 'Blue Dogs,' highlighted the shift of many in his family towards supporting Trump Republicans, feeling abandoned by the Democratic party. He emphasized the significance of having a prominent figure like a Kennedy endorse Trump, suggesting it would carry substantial weight.
