Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Endorses Donald Trump For President

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to make 'major announcement' in his presidential race

Former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made headlines on Friday when he suspended his campaign and endorsed Republican nominee Donald Trump. This move came as a surprise to many, given Kennedy's long history of criticizing Trump.

Over the years, Kennedy has been vocal in his condemnation of Trump, calling him a “threat to democracy” and a “terrible president.” He has accused Trump of being a “bully” who appeals to “bigotry,” “hatred,” “xenophobia,” and “prejudice.” Kennedy has also criticized Trump for alleged corruption and failing to fulfill his promise to “drain the swamp” by turning his administration over to corporate lobbyists and special interests.

Kennedy previously criticized Trump for various reasons.

Despite their past differences, Kennedy praised Trump during a campaign event in Glendale, Arizona, highlighting their shared views on US foreign policy, government censorship, and the need to address chronic disease in America. Kennedy emphasized the importance of having a president who protects America's freedom and guards against totalitarianism.

In response, Trump reciprocated the praise, calling Kennedy “an incredible champion for many of these values that we all share.” However, Trump did not shy away from mentioning Kennedy's previous criticisms of him, noting that Kennedy had also attacked him in the past.

It remains to be seen how this endorsement will impact the political landscape, as Kennedy's sudden shift in support has raised eyebrows among both his supporters and critics. A spokesperson for the Kennedy campaign did not respond to requests for comment on the matter.
