Robert Downey Jr Iron Man

Since Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man was killed out of the Marve Cinematic Universe in the events of 'Avengers: Endgame', there has been much talk of the actor's return.

With the superheroes now navigating the Multiverse, fans have been holding on to the possibilities of RDJ's Tony Stark, Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, and Chris Evans' Captain America all returning for another showdown. While at first rumours were rife of the slain superheroes being resurrected in 'Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness', now rumours state that the heroes will be back in action in 'Avengers: Secret Wars', slated for a May 1, 2026 release.
