Robert Downey Jr. has seen Avengers: Doomsday and says it's "absolutely fantastic": "We may redeem ourselves"

Though he's not giving anything away, Robert Downey Jr. says he has seen Avengers: Doomsday, and promises that it doesn't disappoint.

When Entertainment Weekly asked the cast of Doomsday if anyone had seen the movie, the Doctor Doom star replied, "I'm on the inside track, and it is absolutely fantastic." Then when Red Guardian star David Harbour asked if it was better than the footage they showed inside of Hall H at SDCC 2026, Downey replied, "It's like that except extra, and I'll sidebar with all of you. I think we may redeem ourselves yet."
