Robert De Niro recently revealed that his older children hadn't yet met his newborn daughter, though he suggested he would spend time with some of his family for Father's Day.
The actor, 79, welcomed his youngest child Gia, who is now two months old, earlier this year with his partner Tiffany Chen. The newborn is Robert's seventh child.
He spoke about his children whilst attending at a 30th anniversary screening of the film A Bronx Tale (1993) at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on Saturday.
The acclaimed film had starred the actor alongside the likes of Chazz Palminteri, with Robert having also been credited as the crime drama's director and one of its producers.
Whilst speaking to People magazine at its screening over the weekend, Robert was asked if his eldest six children had met their newborn sibling Gia yet.
He told the outlet at the time that they hadn't met her, commenting: "Not yet, but they will." Robert went on to tease the possibility of the family getting together.
Robert's kids include Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46 - whom he had with his first wife Diahnne Abbott - and twins Julian and Aaron, 27, - whom he shares with his ex Toukie Smith.
He shares his son Elliot, 25, and his daughter Helen, 11, with fellow actor Grace Hightower. The former couple got married in 1997 but later reportedly separated in around 2018.
Discussing his plans for Father's Day, which was the following day to his interview, Robert told the outlet on Saturday: "[I'm] just gonna spend it with the kids and all that."
Robert had announced the arrival of his youngest child in May, with him announcing the birth of his seventh child whilst promoting his recently-released film About My Father.
It was later shared that he'd welcomed his daughter with martial arts instructor Tiffany, whom the actor is said to have met when he was working on the film The Intern (2015).
Gayle King, 68, shared the newborn's name on CBS Mornings a few weeks ago, with her revealing the couple had chosen to name their newborn child Gia Virginia Chen-De Niro.
The journalist told viewers that she had spoken to Robert prior to the episode's broadcast and a photo of his baby was subsequently shared whilst Gayle discussed the new arrival.
She commented: "[Gia] weighed eight pounds and six ounces when she was born on April 6. [Robert] and his partner, that's Tiffany Chen, are over the moon about this little girl."
