Robert De Niro has revealed he wasn't surprised by the birth of his seventh child and admitted the pregnancy had been "planned".
The Goodfellas star became a father again just months before his 80th birthday and he shared the news in a recent interview while promoting his upcoming film About My Father.
Although he stopped short of revealing the new mum's identity, or his baby's name or gender, he did say wasn't shocked to become a dad again.
Appearing at the premiere for his new comedy movie on Tuesday, Robert was asked if he was surprised by his baby's arrival, to which he firmly replied: "No."
Speaking to Page Six, he added: "How you could not plan that kind of thing?"
The 79-year-old actor opted for a smart-casual outfit for his appearance, wearing a black and white striped shirt, black trousers and a navy blazer.
Earlier that day, the Academy Award winner confirmed the birth of his latest child.
He was asked during an interview with ET Canada about being a father-of-six, before correcting the interviewer about his family.
"Seven, actually," he said before adding: "I just had a baby."
It's not been confirmed who the baby's mother is, but Robert is rumoured to be dating Tai Chi instructor Tiffany Chen after they met on the set of his 2015 movie The Intern.
Robert and Tiffany were last photographed together in March as they left a dinner date in Los Angeles. Tiffany appeared to have a baby bump at the time.
Robert shares his eldest two kids with his first wife Diahnne Abbott. The former couple - who were married from 1976 to 1988 - are parents to Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46.
He shares twin sons Julian and Aaron, 27, with his former partner Toukie Smith.
Robert also shares son Elliot, 25, and daughter Helen, 11, with fellow actor Grace Hightower. Robert and Grace got married in 1997 and separated in 2018.
