Former Premier League midfielder Robbie Savage is worried about Everton's away form as they look to stay in the Premier League beyond this season - and believes a slight tweak in tactics could save Everton's season.
Frank Lampard's side were easily defeated in the FA Cup on Sunday, losing 4-0 to Crystal Palace on the road. The Toffees haven't beaten a team away in the league since August last year, a 2-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion under then-manager Rafa Benitez.
Since Lampard took over, Everton have failed to pick up a single point away from Goodison Park and will need to win some games on the road if they are to avoid relegation.

A trip to east London awaits Everton after the upcoming international break and Savage is unsure where the goals are going to come from. He predicted a change in tactics to stop the Merseyside club from leaking goals at the back.
Speaking on the BBC Radio five live football phone, Savage said: “The worry for me would be looking at the away form under Frank Lampard and in the league.
“I think [Everton have] only scored is it one or two goals away from home under Frank?
“The worry for me is the away form - and maybe Frank looks to change and go for two holding midfield players.”
The cup defeat to Palace ended Everton's chance of silverware this season. First-half goals from Marc Guehi and Jean-Philippe Mateta gave the Toffees a mountain to climb after the break. Wilfried Zaha and Will Hughes ended any hope of a late comeback with a goal each in the final 11 minutes of the game.
