Robbie Neilson in Celtic referee swipe as Hearts boss insists 'the less said the better'

Robbie Neilson reckons Hearts should have been awarded a foul in the build-up to Celtic 's first goal.

The Jambos had taken the lead at Celtic Park through Ellis Simms before Daizen Maeda levelled the game.

Ange Postecoglou 's men then cruised to the three points after the leveller with goals from Kyogo, Matt O'Riley and Giorgos Giakoumakis.

However, Neilson was quick to point out a foul on Tony Sibbick from Callum McGregor in the build-up to Maeda's goal.

The skipper took the ball from the Hearts man before thumping a long ball to Jota, who slip the ball across the box to the scorer.

When asked if it should have been a free-kick, Neilson told Sky Sports: "100 per cent. I think the less said about that the better from Don's perspective.

"When you come through to Glasgow you have to get these decisions. When don't get these decisions it can make it a very difficult game.

"The free-kick that wasn't and should have been, and the correct decision with the ball being over the line (for Kyogo's goal). Sometimes these go in your favour. If you get both decisions against you it's always going to be difficult."
