Robbie Neilson dedicated Hearts' Europa Conference League win to the travelling fans as he talked up their chances of upsetting Fiorentina next time out.
The capital club went into the clash with Latvian outfit RFS on the back of six defeats in the last seven games, but they secured a deserved 2-0 win over the group bottom seeds to climb into second spot in the section and give the supporters a night to remember.
Istanbul Basaksehir followed up their opening 4-0 win at Tynecastle with a 3-0 home victory against Fiorentina, who had drawn their opener against RFS to leave the Serie A outfit with just one point from two games. It leaves Hearts boss Neilson in buoyant mood as he looked ahead to the challenge of facing the Italian side. He told BT Sport: "I'm absolutely delighted, for the fans first and foremost because we brought about 2,000 here and it's going to be a raucous night in Riga, that's for sure.
