Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler believes Harry Kane would be a 'certain star' for Liverpool if the forward was to one day make the unlikely switch from Tottenham to Anfield.
England captain Kane is turning 29 years old in the summer and is yet to win a major trophy in football after losing in the Champions League final against Liverpool in 2019 and losing in the final of Euro 2020 vs Italy.
Kane tried to force his way out of Tottenham in the summer of 2021 after Premier League champions Manchester City came calling to replace Sergio Aguero, but the North London club resisted a bids of over £100 million to keep hold of their star player.

Ex-Liverpool star Fowler said in his column for the Mirror: "United will be in, for sure, and this is a bit left-field, but I’ve said before that Liverpool could do worse than go for him, because he’s got that ability to drop deep like Firmino, and he can guarantee goals.
"So he has a question to ask: Are Spurs closer now to winning trophies? I think objectively, and without appearing to put them down, most people would say they’re further away than before.
"I loved Liverpool, but I left them, because of ambition. It was an ambition to play games in my case, but I went to Leeds because I genuinely believed I could be the difference for them as they challenged for honours."
Kane played a pivotal part in Tottenham's 5-1 win over Newcastle on Sunday evening to push them back into the top four and above rivals Arsenal.
Here is what Spurs boss Antonio Conte had to say about his star man: "His performance was amazing. I said to him at the end of the game ‘it was a shame he didn’t score’, but he played fantastic and made an assist.
"To have this type of player in your team makes you strong, having him in our side is very important. I like the person, first of all, sometimes players with great talent don’t work hard. Before a great player, he’s a great mate. He has been an example since the first day. Usually when you are a top player, sometimes you are a bit lazy, but this is what I like is that he is a big example for his teammates."
