Fit-again Inverness defender Robbie Deas is a summer target for Livingston.
David Martindale is eyeing the former Celtic youngster as a replacement for Jack Fitzwater who looks certain to quit the Lions under freedom of contract in the summer.
Deas made a remarkable return to the Caley Thistle match day squad two weeks ago - ironically against Livi in the Scottish Cup - less than four months after breaking his leg against Raith Rovers.
The 22-year-old has been an unused sub in both games since but Billy Dodds sees him as a key player as they look to make a push for the play-offs in the Championship.
Deas is out of contract in the summer and Dodds is keen to keep him in the Highlands.
He said: “Deasy is a big character at this club. Anybody coming back from injury within that length of time is always going to give the boys a boost.
“The biggest boost is for him and I cannot wait to see him play again. He’s a big player for us and it’s an important time for us between now and the end of the season.”
Scotland U21 cap Deas came through the ranks at Celtic and had loan spells at Cowdenbeath and Alloa before signing for Inverness in 2020.
He’s made 63 appearances for Caley Thistle but broke his leg in the 1-1 draw with Raith in October having scored the equaliser earlier in the game.
