A multi-city chase took place in Texas after 34-year-old Ryan Edward Drouin, a known offender, threatened a group of men who were waiting at a parking lot of Sheesh Eatery & Lounge. According to reports based on surveillance footage of a restaurant, the incident took place on Juluy 29. These Indian men were waiting at the parking lot for their orders. The footage showed that a Jeep came towards them and they started running. Reports said the suspect lowered his window and displayed a firearm and demanded money from that group.

The attempted robbery at the Colony, a city in Texas, was not successful but it was reported to the police and officers obtained the Jeep's license plate number from area surveillance footage and entered it into the Flock Safety License plate reader system. None of the Indian men were hurt.
