A robber threatened to cut ex-England defender Ashley Cole’s fingers off with pliers during a violent break-in at his home, a court has heard.

Kurtis Dilks, 34, is accused of being part of a four-strong gang who smashed their way into the former Chelsea FC star’s home using a sledgehammer on January 21, 2020.
