Beloved children's author Roald Dahl died in 1990, however, his books are widely read and enjoyed by adults and kids across the world even today. Dahl is known for his children's classics like 'The BFG', 'Matilda', 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' among other books, which have sold over 300 million copies and adapted for the screen numerous times. But while the author is much-loved for his creative works, his racist and anti-Semitic views continue to be condemned by the people.
Roughly two and a half years after Dahl's family apologised for the author's antisemitism, news is that the Roald Dahl Museum has also acknowledged it in a statement which is published on their website. The Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire-where the author used to live- called Dahl's antisemitism “undeniable and indelible”.
