Motorists are being warned over road closures, convoy systems and diversions when work to maintain a busy stretch of road through Ayrshire gets underway next week.
The maintenance work will take place on the A76 at Brock’s Factory and Polneul Cottage and gets underway from Friday, October 14 until Saturday, October 22 between 7pm and 6am each night.
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, say the £855,740 project will benefit more than 6,000 vehicles using the route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
