A residential road was closed as fire crews rushed to the scene of a house fire.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were alerted to the first floor fire in a mid-terrace home on Amanda Road in Fazakerley at 10.38am on Saturday, March 25.
Two fire engines were on the scene by 10.44am and the road was blocked off. The fire service said all occupants were outside of the house and accounted for before firefighters arrived.

A resident of Amanda Road told the ECHO: "I saw the two engines racing down Amanda Road, a lot of people were gathered outside, they looked really worried.
"The crews raced in and I saw them carrying things out. Smoke was coming from the top floor front window. It’s a very quiet area, it’s rare we see something like this.
"They blocked the road off, people had to abandon their cars."
A Merseyside Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "The occupants were outside prior to our arrival and all persons are accounted for.
"Two firefighters entered the building wearing breathing apparatus and the fire was extinguished using a high pressure hose by 10.56am."
Merseyside Fire and Rescue said the house is now being ventilated and neighbouring properties are being checked for smoke spread.
