THE A83 at Whitehouse near Tarbert has been closed after a 53-year-old man was killed following a crash.
Police said a one-car crash happened around 7.30pm on Tuesday, December 31.
Emergency services attended and the driver, a 53-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been made aware.
A local diversion is in place via the B8001, which the force has said is a single track road only suitable for cars and not other vehicles.
Road users are advised to avoid the area.
