Rescuers from Fife raced to the East Lothian coast after receiving reports of a possible 'upturned' vessel.
The call came in hours after the volunteers of Kinghorn RNLI Lifeboat were out at Burntisland undergoing valuable training.
At around 9.05pm on Tuesday, June 27, the crew got a call from a concerned local who reported an 'upturned' vessel. The RNLI team from Fife raced to the scene as Fisherrow Coastguard and North Berwick Coastguard Rescue Team also supported.
