RM has revealed that all seven members of BTS were “in a bad mental state” after completing their mandatory military service.
The group - RM, Jin, Suga, J‑Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook - first announced their hiatus in June 2022 so each member could fulfil South Korea’s 18‑month enlistment, a process they all wrapped by June 2025. When Jin was discharged a year earlier, the band privately opened up to one another about how difficult the separation had been.
